What ideas of man that they become death ?

I watched you die,

while eating fish fingers and chips,

but it was only television,

not real ! 

'The House of the Rising Sun' on the radio

echoed this surreality, and lulled your demise into numbness,

as you bled out  your youth,

for stocks and shares,

which by turn lulled others into

blindness.

Far from home you died,

your foe your only witness,

your only true friend,

 for we your kin, 

were not there to see.

Were not there to know .
