Artistic-Profile: Biografia Massimo Marano

Nato a Monteforte Irpino (AV) nel 1956, si diploma all’Istituto d’Arte di Avellino e si laurea in Industrial Design all’ISIA di Roma.
Dal 1970 comincia ad affacciarsi nel mondo dell’arte realizzando i suoi primi dipinti. Nel 1980 fonda lo studio di grafica pubblicitaria Mastergrafica, che ha impegnato la maggior parte del suo tempo, costringendolo a dipingere di meno.
Alla fine degli anni ’90 riprende a pieno ritmo la pittura, partecipando inizialmente ad estemporanee e collettive fino a realizzare due personali e alcune collettive all’estero.
La costante nelle sue opere sono le ombre e le luci, infatti è la luce a creare lo spazio, a dare sostanza ai corpi o a lasciarli avvolti nelle ombre.
Utilizza pennellate agili e lievi per rendere le atmosfere calde e avvolgenti.

was born in Monteforte Irpino (AV) ITALY in 1956.
He was graduated in Industrial Design in the ISIA in Rome and he founded the “Mastergrafica” an advertsing agency. His artworks are present in many parts of the world, commissioned from private and public agencies.
His painting has a mature artistic personality and a color full of sensation. The forms assume new value in contrast betwen shadows and lights. Light creates space and gives form to the bodies; It grazes them or leaves them hidden in the shadows. The light brush exalts his painting, that acquires a high emotion value.
