- I'm a self taught artist, I work in oil paint acrylics, pastel and digital art.
in the area I live in most like country art I do landscape pictures, i work with different items such as shovel heads, wood, saw blades, and anything else i can find that this area will buy, I have sold a few paintings.At the moment most of my work is digital. or pastels...I also enjoy writing poetry that i sometimes add into a digital art picture.. I'm 53 yrs old. married. one son and 3 grandchildren..

Today I found out my brother in law whom is a proffesional artist and an educated artist has recently purchased a building to exhibit his art and others as well, I guess this has been in the works for a long time but i just find out today.
which would be fantastic for Me and selling what I do,,, but as i said I wasnt, informed until today purely by accident....
you would think family would help a self taught artist and a sister in law,, I have even promoted his art on…

remodeling the art studio

My husband is remodeling my art studio, for years it was a catch all room but since I'm feeling better and decided to pick up the brushes again, He has been working hard at building shelfs and also painted the windows put up new blinds ect. Except every time I think he's done..lol He thinks of something else it needs... It's really wonderful of him but I would like to decorate the rest of it myself.. and get started. I have become a published artist in a book of poetry, I have the cover page and four other pages inside. thit's on kindle and amazon.com.
I'm so excited, I met the writer online 5 yrs ago and have done work for him before on clothing and poetry websites..
but this is different,,, this is a book cover!!!!
Only took Me 53 yrs to get here, but I did it... smiles and bright blessings…
