- Born in Baltimore, Maryland. Received formal art eduction at Towson University and graduated in 1984.
Accomplishments:
Shown artwork at galleries in Washington DC, Baltimore and Frederick Maryland. Was invited and participated in the 2007 Florence Biennale in Florence, Italy. Sold many of the pastel paintings around the world through Projek30 and other online galleries.
The work I create is contemporary and currently in chalk pastel. My style has evolved over the years and has settled its roots in many genres - cubism, surrealism, abstract and Brancuism. The subject matter in the finished pieces are unified by - and yet on the verge of disassembling and floating away into separate Comunistic pieces - this style. My artwork tends to touch the emotional side through the fluidity and impermanence of reality or perception. It really shows just how fragmented our lives have become via the advent of technology.
