I am a Denver based sculptor from the United States, originally from India. I have been a professional sculptor from 1991.My work style can be described as figurative, stylistic representation of life. I create sculptures of human form illustrating the chemistry and the dynamics of groups of people. I portray the strength of the human spirit and try to illustrate the chemistry and vitality in my sculptures. My monumental sculptures take on a personality of its own and create a rapport with the viewers. I have been exhibiting my sculptures and murals in galleries as well as in art festivals in the United States, India and China. Public art is a very effective city development tool that has gained momentum throughout the world in the last 20 years. In 2011 I was invited to the 12th China, Changchun international sculpture Symposium in China, and the 2nd International Ceramic Symposium 2012 in Changchun China to install 8 Public art Sculptures in China in the last 2 years. As a sculptor I believe that art and the skill of human craftsmanship is still a very precious commodity in a plastic, digital and virtual world of today.
