- SARAH HINDS: Artists statement.
Sarah has a background in printmaking and photography having studied at the University of Westminster. Her work has been exhibited in a number of solo and group exhibitions. Most recently a solo exhibition in a cave in Southern Spain.
More recently her work has been developing in a more abstract direction, employing mixed media techniques using collage, found objects, inks and acrylics. The application and interaction of these materials also plays a part in the construction of these images.
Her work is concerned with the recording of events, duration and the actual and metaphysical depiction of the passage of time. The images produced are an embodiment of personal experience and the celebration of the here and now.
However, Sarah’s work doesn’t give up its rich biography in one visit.
