- orn in the West of Ireland, in 1952, Irish painter Patrick Walshe left Dublin to practice his art in New York and Los Angeles in the 1980's where he exhibited widely, returning to Ireland with his family in the 1990's. He now lives in the mountains of County Wicklow south of Laragh village. Though his work uses the landguage of landscape painting , there is also an intense exploration of themes that are at the core of 21st century man's relationship with his surroundings spiritually and physically.
By painting on metal leaf he also creates a three dimensional quality that can only be fully experienced by viewing the original work, and observing the three way interaction of light, viewer and orientation.

We are 2 Belgian painters and we have a project at the European level. The concept is the following: creation of one or more artists a canvas 10M/3M. The theme of a rainbow with two hands meet. On the right, the logo we love art in Europe, on top of the flags of the 27 participating countries with the name of the artist who made the work. The resume below sponsor logos. This event has no profit but to promote art and culture in Europe. The event will last more or less 2 hours.
Awareness of the art
The work will be deployed on or near a landmark in the capital of each country on the same day at the same time (taking into account time zone differences). Authorities, the media and ambassadors will be invited to a drink at the event.
This event will showcase each of the capitals ue
At this stage we need to announce our project to be followed by the sponsors and authorities. Many contacts have already been made, but a widely give more weight to this project
