Dr. Mona AL.Baiti

She is an artiste and photographer with a continuous enthusiasm and ambitious to everything related to the arts and human civilizations, heritage and culture. She got a Ph.D. in Art and Sciences of Arts from the University of Paris-1 Pantheon - Sorbonne in November 2011, also she got a Master's degree from the same university in Fine Arts in 2007. She got a Bachelor and Master from '' Ecole supérieur de Beaux Arts '' of Brest - France in 2004. Since 1990 until now, she continue to participate effectively in many cultural activities inside and outside Oman : ( GGC countries, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Germany, Slovakia, Swiss, Austria, Tunis, Egypt, USA... ) as professional artist and photographer and she deliver several lectures in many cultural and social centers in France in addition, she do organizing several scientific and artistic forums, exhibitions and workshops in several French cities and other European cities. She worked in charge of cultural and media at the Embassy of Oman in Madrid and the in Paris She is member in many association of fine art in Oman , France, Spain, Belgium and Venezuela.

حاصلة على دكتوراه في الفنون وعلوم الفن - كلية الدراسات العليا للفنون التشكيلية وعلوم الجمال وعلوم الفن - جامعة باريس 1 ، بانتويون السوربون ، بمرتبة الشرف العالي. نوفمبر 2011 . و نالت شهادة الماجستير 2 في الفنون من نفس الجامعة . وحصلت على شهادة (D.N.S.E.P) ماجستير 1 وبكالوريوس الدبلوم القومي العالي للتعبيرات التشكيلية من جامعة "البوزار" وهي المدرسة العليا للفنون الجميلة - مقاطعة بروتاني - مدينة برست - فرنسا. وبكالوريوس تربية وعلوم إسلامية من جامعة السلطان قابوس. بدأت تجربتها الفنية ترى النور في عام 1990 أثناء فترة دراستها بجامعة السلطان قابوس ، ومنذ ذلك الحين وحتى الآن وهي تسهم كفنانة في إثراء الحركة الفنية والثقافية من خلال مساهماتها ومشاركاتها المتعددة. قدمت وأعدت العديد من المحاضرات الفنية في عدة مراكز ثقافية واجتماعية في فرنسا واسبانيا، ونظمت العديد من المعارض الفنية في مدريد وباريس، وشاركت في العديد من البيناليات والمعارض الدولية التي كانت تقام في مدن مختلفة في فرنسا واسبانيا وايطاليا والبرتغال وبلجيكا وسلوفاكيا ورومانيا وألمانيا وسويسرا وأمريكا وتركيا وتونس ومصر بالإضافة إلى مشاركاتها في السلطنة ودول مجلس التعاون. عضوه في العديد من المؤسسات والجمعيات الفنية الدولية مثل مرسم الشباب في عمان، والفن اللاتيني / كاراكاس، ومتحف أسياتيكا / مدينة بياريتس دول الباسك الفرنسية - وأول اختيرت لتكون عضوه في IAA – AIAP اليونسكو منذ 1997 / باريس، وعضوه في Figuration Critique - باريس. وأثناء إقامتها في اسبانيا أسست مؤسسة فنية ثقافية نظمت من خلالها عدة معارض فنية مشتركة شاركت الفنانة بأعمالها الفنية مع العديد من الفنانين اللاتينيين والأوروبيين. عملت أيضا مسئولة إعلامية وثقافية في سفارة السلطنة في مدريد ثم انتقلت في نفس الوظيفة إلى باريس وواصلت مستمرة في أنشطتها الثقافية...

migration towards Utopia / Mona's Exhibition  Muscat: Journeys, both physical and spiritual, are the subject of a beautiful new exhibition by Dr. Mona Mohamed Al Baiti which opened at Bait Al Baranda on Sunday. 

'Migration towards Utopia' is a collection of small canvases that come together in groups, somewhat like puzzles, and tell the story of Al Baiti's life, from the various countries she hascalled home, to memories of friends and the inner peace which she considers a perfect place.

"For me utopia is having spiritual balance and tranquillity,- Al Baiti said....

Painting voyage through lifetime

Trips, both actual and religious, are the topic of a amazing new display by Dr. Mona Mohamed Al Baiti which started out at Lure Al Baranda on Weekend.

‘Migration towards Utopia’ is a selection of little canvases that come together in categories, somewhat like questions, and tell the tale of Al Baiti’s lifestyle, from the various nations she has known as house, to reminiscences of buddies and the inner serenity which she views the best position.

“For me paradise is having religious stability and pleasure,- Al Baiti said.

Finding her paradise has been a life-long voyage to many nations and with many encounters, all of which are demonstrated in her work. The canvases are mixed-media collages that incorporate color, parts of report with images and terms, and silver aluminum foil. From a range they look like richly-coloured abstract paintings, somewhat associate of charts, but upon nearer examination the terms, in many different dialects, and images become noticeable.

“Each term or image symbolizes a individual I’ve known in my lifestyle. Each item informs me of a individual and what position and what season I met them. It’s like a key for me to keep in mind my lifestyle,-
Al Baiti described.

Dark collections summarize the images and terms or areas of color, like roads and structures, or boundaries around nations. The collections not only signify actual departments, but also transcendental ones, the specialist described.

“The collections signify the bursts, the separating, the extreme conditions of all I experience. They are images and reminiscences and factors I have resided in everyday lifestyle, and factors I have experienced in my lifestyle,- said Al Baiti.

Al Baiti said though the work is abstract, it still symbolizes different locations. Though she is Omani, Al Baiti was blessed in Kuwait, went to school in Italy, and also resided in The country.
She has also has events or given talks in nations throughout European countries, the Center and the The.

“There are many journeys. It’s the mainly the nations that I have resided in, Italy, The country and Oman. But the relax are areas and areas I have frequented and the different societies that you can get within those nations,- Al Baiti said.

Malik Al Hinai, house of Lure Al Baranda, said it was amazing to demonstrate the perform of such a excellent Omani specialist, and especially one whose perform is exclusive.
