PAINTER, GALLERIST, ART-LOVER, OTHER VISUAL ARTS, OTHER
Presently I am retired on disability. Last October I bought a pack of 16 crayon for 25cents. I started drawing again after an extremely long hiatus. I think that the crayons freed me from my internal critic since I found great joy in drawing. I did several hundred drawings when a friend gave me some acryllics and brushes I also bought some water colors. I have been working hard at learning about painting. I paint for the joy of it and will appreciate any constructive criticism.
I have a Ph.D. in Japanese and Comparative Literature aand have taught at the college level writing, world literature, Japanese language, literature and culture, classical Japanese and kambun (Japanese written in classical Chinese and read in classical Japanese). I am familiar with American and English Literature, French literature, Italian literature, Spanish literature, and German literaure (in translation).
