Artistic-Profile: H.D. Hasselbarth is an award-winning fine art photographer who resides in Florida and New Hampshire. Her works have been shown in galleries in Florida, Illinois and New York.

She is listed in "Who's Who in Visual Arts-100 Photographers, Vol. 2011-2012." Her current book of French countryside landscapes, "Un Jour Sans Soucis," is available on www.blurb.com.

In her work, Hasselbarth assumes a neutral gaze and creates her art from commonplace subjects: a lone figure on the beach, an empty chair, a red shirt, or the village hotel. Like the life she studies, her pieces run the gamut from solemnly visceral to whimsically charming.
