Artistic-Profile
[EN] Dino Buffagni was born in Modena in 1965. Here he completed his artistic studies at the Venturi School of Art, with an Art Teacher diploma, and specialised in Applied Art – Graphics and Photography. After holding various courses in computer graphics at professional training institutes throughout Italy, today he lives and works in Bologna where alongside his work as art-director, graphic designer, professional commercial artist in advertising, he also pursues his more specifically artistic interests. From the early 1990s Dino Buffagni has been nurturing his love of art, drawing, painting, following a long process of experimentation and research. Now he is working on new projects even in digital art and video. In May 2011 was published the children's book "Il ghioro e il frescaccino" (www.ilghioroeilfrescaccino.com), which Dino has made illustrations and graphic project. Dino lives and works in Bologna.

[IT] Dino Buffagni è nato a Modena nel 1965. Qui ha compiuto i suoi studi artistici presso l’istituto d’Arte Venturi, ottenendo i diplomi di Maestro d’Arte e di Maturità d’Arte Applicata – Grafica e Fotografia. Dopo aver tenuto corsi di computergrafica presso centri di formazione professionale di tutta Italia, oggi vive e lavora a Bologna come art director free lance, graphic designer, disegnatore, illustratore. Dai primi anni Novanta Dino Buffagni coltiva la sua profonda passione per l'arte, il disegno, la pittura, seguendo un lungo percorso di sperimentazione e di ricerca.

Attualmente sta sviluppando nuovi temi anche nel campo dell’arte digitale e del video. Nel mese di maggio 2011 è stato pubblicato il libro per bambini "Il ghioro e il frescaccino" (www.ilghioroeilfrescaccino.com), di cui ha realizzato le illustrazioni e curato il progetto grafico. Vive e lavora a Bologna.
