A SHORT DEFINITION

EXPLANATION OF THE TITLE:

 POPIMPRESS

POP -  in that particular case, it means that the object, thing, person or landscape, which is depicted, is popular, well known or routine.

IMPRESS - in that particular case, it aims to emphasize the fact that the object, which is depicted, has been partially expressed in the spirit of the impressionistic technique and concept of painting.

BIOGRAPHY - in that particular case, it aims to explain the meaning of the object, which is depicted - to give it a personal dimension through personal research and to identify it to the maximum.

 

The idea of a new direction in painting:

Living in the century of dynamically developing multimedia technology, experiencing the meaning of the ingenious words of Andy Warhol - “ In the future, everyone will be world-famos for 15 minutes”, we move forward at a startling speed, flooded by a waterfall of information (which has required a great deal of effort to select).

But where is the personality?

-Each POPobject has his past and present.

-Each POPobject is the product of thorough elaboration.

-Each POPobject can be reflected in a work of art in an extraordinary way by using a “cocktail” of technical means.

-In the future, contemporary art will be perceived not only visually but will affect all physical senses of the human  being - irrespective of gender, race or age.

Popimpress biography is a theoretical formulation of the art objects, which I have developed, and is the meaning of all my artistic effort to achieve a symbiosis of classical drawing, painting, modern technical means, photography, video, multimedia, music, etc.

Рopimpress biography is an appeal to every artist who is willing to develop the potential of their means of expression and to adapt their art to the dynamics of contemporary life.
